Community Social Club

 

Branding development for concept of a local community social club aimed at college students and grads ages 21-35.

The idea came from the current political/social climate we are faced with, and wanting to create a safe and inviting environment locally, for like-minded and passionate individuals to create some positive change within the community/world and to of course let loose & have some fun.

LOGO CONCEPT

Based off of neighborhood aerial views and grid structure.

Vertical concept with geometric shapes, including a box/building & D callout for with speech bubble for communication/conversation/discussion of social club.

 

 

 BRANDING 

 

The main inspiration for the visual language and development of the brand and style were Collegiate Clubs.
I wanted the branding to feel collegiate, unisex, global, fun, active, warm, bold, contemporary, vibrant, progressive, and inviting

BRAND ELEMENTS

Keeping up with the local/neighborhood concept of the logo, 
I developed a minimalistic map based off of the actual city downtown area and central hub.

I also introduced dots as a way to add activity and more visual interest to the brand identity.
It also plays into the focus on communication and community aspect of the project.
